Our launch site is NZD $2,500 + GST, fixed, including copy, design, build and launch. A full multi-service site is a fixed quote agreed after a 20-minute call. For comparison, a DIY template runs $20 to $40 a month and converts poorly, freelancers charge $1,500 to $4,000, and generalist agencies charge $5,000 to $15,000 and rarely understand roofing. ### How long does it take to build a roofing website? A launch site is typically live within 5 working days of receiving your photos and logo. A full site with six to ten pages takes 2 to 3 weeks. The slowest part is always collecting photos, so we send a photo checklist on day one. ### Do you only do website design for roofers? Yes. We work only with roofing companies: residential and commercial, re-roofing, repairs, membrane, long-run, tile and metal. We don't build sites for other trades, and we turn down work that isn't roofing. ### Will my roofing website rank on Google? It will be built to rank: one page per service, a page per service area, proper titles, schema markup, a sitemap, fast load times and Search Console set up at launch. Ranking also depends on your Google Business Profile, reviews and competition in your area. We'll be honest about that on the call. For guaranteed volume, that's what Google Ads is for. ### Can you redesign my existing roofing website instead of starting over? Yes, and for most roofers trading more than two years it's the better option. We keep your domain and anything that already ranks, rebuild the pages, and set up redirects so you don't lose traffic in the switch. ### Do I own the website? Yes. The domain, the hosting account, the files and the content are yours. There's no monthly "licence" and nothing we can switch off if you decide to move on. ### What do you need from me? Your logo, your Google review link, a list of the services you actually want more of, the areas your crews cover, and roof photos from real jobs (we send a checklist of the six shots that matter). Roughly an hour of your time across the project. ### Will the website work with Google Ads? Every site ships ads-ready: fast, tracked, with a landing page template and call tracking already wired in. We can run the campaigns for you, or you can use the site with any agency. ### Do you build websites for roofers in Australia? Yes. We work with roofing companies in Australia, Canada and the US as well as New Zealand. The build process is the same; the service pages and spelling change. ### What's a roofing landing page, and do I need one? A landing page is a single page built for one job, usually to receive Google Ads traffic for one service in one area, like "re-roofing Auckland". It has one headline, proof, and a form, and nothing else to click. If you run or plan to run ads, you need at least one. Every site we build includes the template. ## Optional - [Full site content](https://www.roofingwebdesign.co.nz/llms-full.txt): every page as one Markdown file. - [Sitemap](https://www.roofingwebdesign.co.nz/sitemap.xml) - [Bluelight](https://www.bluelightads.com/llms.txt): the parent company, which also runs Google Ads for roofing companies.
